I think the gun control debate is over. To outlaw guns in the US would require years of Iraq War style carnage and chaos that gun control advocates wouldn't be able to stomach. But if you meet someone who insists on bringing the topic up, feel free to be flippant.

When you hear politicians talk about helping the middle class, that is a dog whistle phrase. It means that they don't want to help people who aren't middle class. My own attitude is that if you truly need economic assistance, by all means ask for it but quit pretending that you are still middle class.

See, this is one of the biggest difference between first person shooters and actual combat. I know a lot of veterans, and none of them have admitted that they tried to stab someone with a grenade. It happens a lot in "Battlefield", though.
